Know what it says before you watch it.
Magpie summarises the video or article in front of you in one click, in a panel beside it, without opening a tab or pasting a link anywhere.
Every point is a link
Each line of the summary ends with the timestamp or paragraph it came from. Click it and the video seeks there, or the page scrolls to the exact block. You can check any claim in a second, which is the difference between a summary you skim and one you trust.
It does not run until you ask
Nothing is summarised on page load. Opening a video costs nothing, and the longer detailed pass only runs if you open that tab. Your reading is not a background job.
Nothing to set up
No account, no API key, no onboarding. Install it, open a video, click once. Sign in later only if you want your history on more than one machine.
2 summaries a day of anything under 20 minutes. Anything already summarised by someone else is free and does not count.
